Digital Art Show ratings

1. Roy Freiha- I would rate Roy's Digital Art show picture a 7 because its a good picture but its a little to simple for a art show. He did a good job at focusing on Roman and its a very clear picture and you can tell exactly what he was going for, Which was a student staring at a computer screen. It was just a little to plain but other than that it was a good picture.
2. Jacob Mestre- I would give Jake's pictures a 9 because they are all different and original. They all have different reasons why they are cool and some have special effects and I think that Jake actually put effort into choosing which pictures he would enter into the show. His pictures all include different types of colors and backgrounds.
3. Dante Longo- I would give his pictures an 8 because they are pretty original pictures just not that special for an art show. The one with the reflection is pretty cool because even though its pretty muddy you can still see the reflection of the blue sky.

3 Different Albums

1. Tamarack's Beach Surfers- These pictures are from February 13th at Tamaracks Beach where the photographer took some really cool pictures of the water and the beach itself. The action shots of the surfers look really well shot and not blurry at all. He captured shots of the animals and people on the beach enjoying a good time and spending time with each other.

2. Best Disneyland Weekend- This album appealed to me because I love Disneyland and the pictures show how fun the theme park can be. Its like a family photo album of their experiences and its really nice to see how happy they look.

3.Lunar Eclipse- This album shows the process of what a lunar eclipse and it looks so cool. The moon goes from being to red and it the pictures capture it perfectly. The stages that he took pictures are from the beginning till the end.

The overview of high lever aperture is: Aperture indicates whether the opening in your lens is wide open or narrow. Your digital SLR communicates with the lens via electronic contacts. You can control the width of the opening by changing the aperture setting from the camera. A small aperture number (2.8) represents a WIDE opening in the lens. A large aperture number (22) represents a NARROW opening in the lens. Aperture numbers follow a standard scale called f-stops. Changing an aperture value by a full stop either doubles or halves the amount of light passing through the lens. Aperture values can be changed in either half stop or third stop increments. the two things we need to know about aperture is that Virtually all lenses can be set to the same narrow aperture (f/36)Not all lenses can be set to the same wide aperture
