Book Report

I'm doing my book report on the book, SURFING by Tim Nunn which is full of different action shots of Surfers or locations that are known for the perfect waves. The first of the locations are The Americas which have many popular spots such as the California, Hawaii, the Caribbeans, and Brazil. There are many amazing pictures in this book that were taken in Hawaii that capture the action of surfing perfectly, or just the pictures of the waves themselves are perfectly timed. The next location that the book uses is Australasia which consists of many places that are commonly known for the sport of surfing such as the Australian states, New Zealand, and Southern Africa. One of my favorite places I saw in this book was Queenland because the ocean itself looked beautiful and the photographers captured its tropical essence. The Indian Ocean is known to be the best place to go surfing which is why so many photographers go there to capture their pictures. The last location displayed in this book was Europe where many surfers go to the British Isles, Southern France, Atlantic Islands, and Northern Africa such as Morocco. I think that this book used photographs that captured what the sport of surfing really looks like. The photographs are so close up and I think it's amazing how the photographers are able to get so close to the surfers. You can easily see the facial expression of the surfers as they go under the waves and the concentration on their faces is very prominent. In my opinion I feel like this book had amazing photographs and they really were able to show the beauty of all the different places they used.
