 It is short for International Standards Organization – main governing body that standardizes sensitivity ratings for camera sensors.

 Lets in more light to the camera shutter for an exposure

              B. What does the small aperture do?

 Has a smaller opening in the lens diaphragm to let in LESS light for a given exposure.
